I was seen on 02/01/2012 and had to become a patient cost 35 dollars,That was fine,But i was/am having mouth pain after 1 being pulled on 02/13/2012 and having two teeth (one on each side top left and right drilled & filled)They did xrays of my whole mouth and now its Feb.17 2012 and i am STILL in pain on the left side of my mouth,I am LOW income and have already spend over 300 $ and still can't eat like i have to go back today at 3:00 I have spent most of our house note. We live on SSD.

We do our best to treat your dental issues and concerns in a timely manner. We always address you most painful areas first because out goal is to get you out of pain and make you comfortable. The Dental Clinic at Western Wayne Family Health Center offers patients 2 types of initial appointments. (1) Emergency Walk-in or (2) A New Patient Exam. (1)The Emergency Walk-in Clinic is offered on Monday and Wednesday mornings. Sign in begins at 8:30am and patients are seen on a “First come first serve basis”. Emergency time is reserved for patients with dental infections and those needing a tooth pulled. Emergency patients are seen as walk-ins only. We have limited space available so it is important to get here early. Emergency patients are worked in along side of our regularly scheduled patients and it is not uncommon to incur a wait on these days. Due to the overwhelming outcome we focus on (1) tooth causing you the most pain at the time of the visit. Fillings are Not performed during emergency time. (2)Patients interested in fillings, cleanings and comprehensive care are asked to fill out the appropriate paperwork and go through the process of becoming a New Dental Patient. The New Patient Exam consists of a full series of radiographs and a comprehensive exam and treatment plan. This type of exam allows us to treat you comprehensively (all of your needs). Once this exam is completed you will be able to schedule specific dental appointment dates and times. All patients of Western Wayne are eligible to apply for the sliding scale program. This program is based on your income and may help reduce the high costs of dental/medical care. We understand that the discounted rate can still be a burden on a person’s income so, we make every effort to tailor treatment plans to fit your budget. Sensitivity after a filling: It is Not uncommon to feel hot and cold sensitivity, on a tooth, for up to (6) months after a filling is done. During this time the sensitivity should become less and less. If you feel aching, throbbing pain after a filling is done you should contact your dentist.

Yes this is my first time writing about any kind of clinic but I strongly felt that it was needed. I have not yet been seen at this clinic and I am now sure that this is a place I do not want to go let alone recommend anyone else.As someone finally answered the phone she was very rude and unprofessional. I told her that and I asked that I get her name so I can report her behavior to the right person.She makes the cliniic seem bad in treatment and she needs to be tired.

My appointment with the psychiatrist was for 2:00 I waited for 45 minutes they said he was behind so i continued to wait, after an hour i asked again, they didnt know maybe another 1/2 hour wait. I said i want my money back and i left. The girls were rude and this was my first time coming to see this psychiatrist. it was dirty and kids were loud. I cannot handle waiting and I really needed help. this is awful service and would hope they would change how they do things!

Thank you for providing feedback on your experience. Psychiatry appointments do not normally run that far behind, and we apologize for the delay. There are times when appointments do take longer based on the patient's presenting problems, and we will make a sincere effort to inform the patients waiting earlier. WWFHC provides pediatric services and WIC services and at times we find the clinic has a lot of children present. We do make an effort to respect all of the patients in the clinic by working diligently to get the children seen as swiftly as possible, however, their appointments may take time to ensure that we are providing quality care to them as well. WWFHC apologizes for your experience and will address the remaining matters described.

Every time I try to call or contact the office I can't get through and when I call no one ever calls me back. I really like my Doctor, but the office is not good. The Doctor saved by life but, like I said the nurses and staff that are to return calls don't.

I was in to see Dr. Watts and have been several times. He is a great addition to the clinic. He has a great demeanor and really listens to me. If you have problems and are looking for real help and not just medicine, this doctor is the one to see. I love that this clinic added this program to the clinic!!! The costs was not high and the staff are all friendly. I had to wait about 20 minutes to see the doctor but I did not mind. I have been to other clinics where I have had to wait hours to see any doctor.
