Patrick Hoban is by far the greatest physical therapist in Washtenaw County. I had been diagnosed with a neck injury per my physician who recommended a steroid injection to deal with the pain and move a slightly off disc in my neck. I opted for therapy as there are many complications with the injection. While going through treatments Patrick was sensitive to my pain threshold and physical abilities. Throughout the sessions I would describe the motions that would create the pain and Patrick would associate these with the muscles related to the movement, this resulted in the discovery of a shoulder/bicep issue not a neck issue after all. Patrick assisted me in avoiding unnecessary and potentially harmful treatments through his vast knowledge and thorough care.

I was diagnosed with breast cancer and so i went through bilateral mastectomy and immediate reconstruction. The day of my surgery, i was really worried and scared. Scared about the side effects, etc - but I received great personal care from Dr. Sweat pre and post surgery. After the surgery, I realized that it was not nearly as scary as I'd feared. I received lot of TLC from his team - managing every aspect of the surgery, monitoring my recovery on a daily basis while in the hospital and keeping his regular appointments to check on my progress. He has definitely helped me face my cancer with the right and upbeat attitude!
